"I've got it!" Emily exclaimed. "Let's sneak into the old abandoned house on the edge of town and explore it!"

Serena couldn't resist the excitement in Emily's voice. "Okay, let's do it. But if we get caught, I'm blaming you."

"Not at all!" Serena replied, scooting over to make room for Emily on the towel. "I was just enjoying the sun and contemplating my next move."

"Hey, Serena! Mind if I join you?"

The two girls chatted and laughed for a while, enjoying the peaceful summer afternoon. As they talked, they started to brainstorm ideas for their next adventure.

Serena's eyes lit up. "That sounds like a great idea! But we have to be careful. I heard the owner is really strict about people trespassing."

Serena just shrugged. "That's half the fun, right?"

Emily grinned. "That's what makes it exciting! Come on, it'll be fun. We can be naughty Midwest girls for a day."
